I grew up in the 1970’s watching Saturday morning cereal commercials with cartoons from the Golden Age of Animation sprinkled in between.

The Warner Bros and MGM cartoons from the 1940’s & 1950’s were my favorites. Tex Avery and Chuck Jones created some of the best stuff during that classic era.

Space Cow Must Die is a webcomic set during the 1950’s Space Race and inspired by cartoons like Road Runner & Coyote, Tom & Jerry, and Bugs Bunny. The Little Green Men are scheming up ways kill Space Cow while she somehow avoids every attempt; always resulting in a comical gag that backfires on the green space aliens.

My use of a black and white color palette is a nod to the early originals, with a splash of “Technicolor” thrown in for fun and emphasis.

Future plans for Space Cow Must Die series include branded merchandise (please visit the shop), creating short animated clips, a mobile video game, and eventually a printed book collection of the Space Cow Must Die webcomics.
